Problem Statement

Amy is a social media content creator. Amy has to post on over 4 social media in a day and keep up on each of them. Amy also want to be held accountable for as she is about to start posting content everyday so that she can build has account. Amy knows that she can achieve a lot of things with the right mindset and help but who is willing to help her. She has also seen a lot of content creators do the right thing but not her, what could she be doing wrong and what can she do right.

Mary is a 25 year old content creator, she has been a content creator for the past 4 weeks, but she feels that she is not doing well for herself, she is not where she believes she is meant to be, is her progress slow, is she not doing enough?, is she not making the right posts, is it not just getting to the right audience, these are the series of questions Mary has asked herself.

  1. Gamification: Gen z are so used to the gamification and a reward method, using snapchat and Duolingo as an example, so to apply this to Sociafy, we incorporated streaks, Streaks helps the users to keep themselves accountable and not try to kill their streak.


  2. Analytics: Nothing feels better than seeing y]where you started and where you are currently at. It gives a sense of completion and fulfilment. This was incorporated in Sociafy as well


  3. Artificial Intelligence: Who is not using AI today, AI in this platform helps content creators see the latest trending topics on the social media they have connected to the platforms, Sociafy AI also helps them plan way to create the content that will help them get to their target audience.


  4. Scheduling and planning events: Its one thing to plan an event, its another thing to schedule it and have it planned somewhere you can always go back to plan some more. The events are helped with series of calendars and dates alongside collaborations as well

Who needs help

Designing for different users is never an easy task, especially for users that necessarily don't know even know what they need yet.

A student

A university or secondary student older than the age of 18, that want to start an influencing journey but has a hard timechecking out all the app at the same time combining school

A freshly graduated unemployed youth

Some people after coming out of the university does not know what to do but start content creation, maybe not as a full time job but as something to keep them going until they actually get a job

A busy working class, that uses social media as a side

Some people use social media content creation as a side of their main job. These are very busy people that may get the chance to only check their account, once or twice in a day.

Information architecture includes searching, browsing, categorizing and presenting information i a way that it will be very easy for users to navigate the product

With over 60 screens for the web only, This project has about 8 major sections; The Onboarding, the dashboard, the scheduled content, the analytics, The artificial Intelligence, the events and calendar, the notification and finally the setting

The onboarding page that includes signing up with either google or apple or Facebook or even email address. After which users can get to sett up their account by answering some questions

Dashboard

Dashboard design for Sociafy is a simple and straightforward one. Showing the summary of things that the users will need, like the content calendar that checks how often the user has posted, the followers count; to check the growth of the user across all platform, The scheduled post; when users make plans to create content, the content they ant to create appears on the dashboard as well, Account overview showing the overview of their engagement as well as impressions and views

Scheduled content

Planning a content and scheduling when to create the content and when to post it so as to keep the user accountable at all times. Users can add the title of the content they would like to create and also create a mood board for the inspirations of their products

The analytics of all their social media account in one place including the leaderboard of the best performing post in the desired timeframe, the top demographics that is engaging their post. The total earnings they have made from each social media and finally the content performance

The settings for Sociafy is divided into 4 section; Account section which includes users avatar, email address and password, Features which includes appearance setting, languages settings and notification settings, Linked accounts which handles all the settings for all the linked accounts and finally the security

What is in for the business

While satisfying the users by creating a beautifully curated design interface, it is equally important to create a business goal.

The business can earn by creating a premium for some of the features. Premium on things like, adding more than 5 social media account, Sociafy AI, Scheduling more than 10 events and also collaborating with other influencers.

Down the line they can be features such as Marketplace, where companies and brands can come and fine influencers based on what they will be needing, the business pay a percentage to the product to access some influencers.

Conclusion

The need for social media content creators is on the rise, Statistically, over 12 million youths are going into content creation and it is an untapped market, Imagine having a market for them to manage and plan their activities. Sociafy solves a lot of problems from both the upcoming and the fully blown content creators. While this project has a lot of potential growth, this makes a lot for a beautiful project.
